In the PNW and beyond Delaney can often be seen with her camera creating beautiful emotive portrait and lifestyle photography. Based out of Portland, Oregon Delaney has a goal of being a full time photographer in the next year! She has become the go to photographer if you are looking for senior photos, capturing maternity memories, or are an influencer looking for that warmed toned content that captures the eye. Delaney's journey with photography started as a hobby and quickly grew into a passion. She attended art school and then started freelancing shortly after. I did a shoot with Delaney a few years back which is how we met! We had mutual friends from attending the same art school and shortly after viewing her work on instagram I knew I had to work with her! Half way through our outdoor shoot together in downtown Seattle, it started raining, but that didn't get Delaney down for one second. She not only is talented with a camera, but has a quick creative eye for improvising and seeing the beauty in a situation that you wouldn't have seen otherwise. She quickly thought of new innovative ways to continue the shoot and I ended up with even cooler photos than I anticipated!
I have always loved working with other artists in different mediums and artforms than my own. Getting to see their individual creative processes. Delaney's eye for detail and energetic innovation fully reflect this issue's intention of being here and now. Staying in the moment. Two years ago when it started raining in the middle of our photoshoot, Delaney was faced with the challenge to be in the moment of that shoot. To work with what was happening in that very moment and create something even more beautiful that what was expected.
